Day 1: Ulaanbaatar City tour                      
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar Transfer to the hotel and check in.  Today we will explore Ulaanbaatar city for a day.  In the evening we will enjoy the Mongolian folklore concert. Transfer to the hotel and relax.

Day 2: Ulgii & Altai Tavanbod NP             
Early in the morning take a flight to Ulgii town, a major city in western Mongolia

Fly: ULN/ULG MR181 06.20-08.30

From airport connection flight to Ulgii. Ulgii (3 hours), capital of Bayan-Ulgii, Mongolia’s most western province. Ninety percent of the population of Bayan-Ulgii is Kazakh and you will have ample opportunity to meet local families and experience the unique Kazakh culture.  Continue our tour to Altai Tavan Bodg National park. Lake evening reaches our camping site nearby Mt. Shiveet Khairkhan. Settle down camp and relax in the tented camp.

Day 3:    Horse trek to Potanin glacier and base camp
Today we will start horse riding to the Glacier in the Altai Mountains among the White River. We will hire horses and guide from local families who live in the White river basin. Among the routes visit man stone monuments and rock paintings in the Holy Mt. Shiveet Kharkhan. Evening returns at base camp and relax.  The trail is a gradual ascent, taking about 5-6 hours of the moderate ride up for 22kms. We will reach to a base camp on the edge of the Potaniin’s Glacier. On the way of our ride, you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the mountains with icy peaks of Khuiten (4374m), Nairamdal (4082m), Snowchurch (4071m), Malchin (4051m), and Ulgii (4113m) and glaciers of Potanin and Alexander. (app. altitude 2900m above sea level) Evening returns to camp and relax.

Day 4: Trekking day among Mt. Khar salaa, Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain              
Trek through Khar Salaa Valley of Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain for 18 km about 5-6 hours. Today we will explore hundreds of petroglyphs that can express deeply about history and culture of nomads dating back to 3000 years. Also we will enjoy beautiful small lakes as home to many species of water birds and dear stones as remaining of ancient nomad civilization.  The Shiveet Mountain is sacred to the Tuvan people and boasts much wildlife including mountain goat-ibex / altitude 3600 m above sea level /. Each year the Tuvans climb to the mountain summit to make an offering ceremony for the local hosts. You have an opportunity to visit a “Ger”, the traditional dwelling of the Mongol-Tuvan nomad family for seeing and learning more about their nature and loved the unique lifestyle. Stay overnight in a tent nearby the nomad family. BLD (app. altitude 2800m above sea level) Evening return to camp and relax.

Day 5: Ulgi town
Drive back to Ulgii town. On the way, stop at Tsengel soum to visit the market and center of the town.  Late evening returns to Ulgii and relaxes in a local hotel.

Day 6: Altantsugts soum/ Golden eagle Hunter family  
Today we will start another exciting part of the trip. We will move to the female eagle hunter Aishopan’s family.  We will spend 2 days with her family to explore their lifestyle and cultures.  Tented camping nearby.

Day 7: Altantsugts soum/ Eagle hunter family
The day with Aisholpan’s. Late afternoon drive back to Ulgii. Relax in the local hotel.

Day 8: Ulaanbaatar/
Today we will take a flight to Ulaanbaatar.

Fly: ULG/ULN MR181 15.40-19.20

Transfer to hotel and leisure after a long adventure.

Day 9: Excursion to Terelj National Park 
Today we will visit the Chinggis Khaan monument in Tsongijin Boldog dedicated to the 800^th anniversary of the Mongolian Empire.  Afternoon visit the Ariyabalo meditation temple & turtle rock. Dinner at Terelj lodge restaurant returns to Ulaanbaatar and relax.

Day 10: Departure          
Transfer to the airport for international departure. Tour ends.
