DAY 01. ULAANBAATAR

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Relax in the hotel. afternoon city tour. Ulaanbaatar has 380 years of history. The capital city has been moved 29 times to finally settle down by the bank Tuul River. 100 years ago, with the name Urguu, Ulaanbaatar was all yurt felt dweller nomad town. This morning we visit Sukhbaatar square, the heart of the city. Continue to the Natural History Museum, which houses numerous exhibits on the geography, flora, and fauna of Mongolia and dinosaur skeletons excavated from the Gobi. Visit the Gandantegchinlen Monastery, a Mongolian Buddhist monastery in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar that has been restored and revitalized since 1990. The Tibetan name translates to the "Great Place of Complete Joy"

In the afternoon, visit the National History Museum which displays exhibits showing the traces of the first human community in the land of Mongolia throughout the glorious history of the nomadic nation. Enjoy a Mongolian traditional concert including throat singing, Morin Khuur, and contortions followed by dinner.

DAY 02. ULAANBAATAR / HUVSGOL
This early morning, we will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Murun city, the capital of Huvsgol province.

Fly: Ulaanbaatar / Murun MR 161    (1h 20m)

On arrival in Murun, we are having an excursion to Uushgiin uvur ancient site with a rich collection of ancient deer stones and tombstones. There are 14 beautifully carved deer stones in the same area. Continue driving to Husvgul lake and arrive at ger camp by the lake. After being settled in a ger camp conveniently located on the western shore of the lake, we enjoy a relaxing time in the refreshing settings of the beautiful lake.

DAY 03. HUVSGOL & REINDEER HERDERS
Enjoy experiencing the lake and exploring the surrounding area by ourselves. Known as the “dark blue pearl” of Mongolia, lake Huvsgul is one of the country’s largest lakes and it features one of the most spectacular areas of the country. With 136 kilometers in length and 36 kilometers wide stretching from north to south, Huvsgul is the 14th largest freshwater lake in the world by volume and its 380 cubic kilometers of water make up over 1% of the world’s freshwater. About a hundred rivers and streams pour into Huvsgul lake, but only the Egiin River exits the lake. Overnight in gers at the shore of Huvsgul lake. In the afternoon we are also visiting a reindeer settlement and Shaman spiritual place on the northwest of the lake.  Evening returns to ge camp and relax. Overnight in gers at the shore of Huvsgul lake.

DAY 04. HUVSGOL/ TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
After breakfasts drive to Murun city to take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar.

Transfer to Terelj National Park. On the way, we will visit the Kazakh family nearby in the Nalaih settlement to see the Golden eagle, In summertime Kazakhs do not hunt with the Golden eagle. It is tradition to hunt in wintertime after snow. But it is welcome to see their eagle and photo and visit their ger, continue our tour to go on an excursion to Turtle Rock and Ariyabal Meditation Temple. Afternoon relaxes in Terelj Hotel.

DAY 05: TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
This early morning, choose your experience.

Hiking: Hike around and truly reconnoiter the area. There are no trails in the park, which makes exploring more fun.

Horseback riding: Start your horse journey along Tuul river, the trail goes through meadows of forest-steppe, lunch will be provided nearby Baruun Bayan river, continue your trek, and on the way visit a local family.

In the afternoon, we will then travel to Chinggis Khaan’s Equestrian Monument and Museum completed in 2006 for the 800th anniversary of the Mongol conqueror’s coronation. Afterward, return to Terelj lodge and relax.

DAY 06: TERELJ NATIONAL PARK / ULAANBAATAR
This morning enjoys a mini Mongolian Traditional Naadam festival and plays games including archery and uncle bone game shooting. After lunch, we head back to Ulaanbaatar and catch up with some last-minute shopping.
